Frequently Asked Questions

What can NOT go in the dumpster?
Items you cannot dispose of in a dumpster include hazardous & dangerous materials like vehicle tires and  batteries, acids, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, (any tank with a valve) florescent bulbs and ballasts, herbicides & pesticides, gasoline and other fuels, paint, asbestos, medication, medical sharps like hypodermic needles.  We also do not allow liquids of any kind, dirt, concrete, rock/stone, brick or pavers.  ALL LOADS will be screened by a recycling center/landfill employee. Any unpermitted items will be identified and additional fees will be incurred by the customer.
Where do you provide your services?
Spring Hill Dumpster Rental serves Spring Hill and surrounding cities in Hernando County, including but not limited to Brooksville, High Point, Ridge Manor, Brookridge, Spring Lake, and Timber Pines.  Our business is growing, so if you are outside of Hernando County, please call to see if we are able to service your area.
Can I put metal in the dumpster?

Yes, you can. Most metals can be recycled and used again in a different form. We ask that you place the bulky metal items in the dumpster last, by the doors, so they can be easily pulled out at the metal area at the landfill.

What time do you deliver, and when do you pick up the dumpsters?

We value your time and will coordinate the delivery time with you the evening before your scheduled delivery date.  We can also provide contactless delivery/pick up while you are at work!  Call 352-345-5662 for more details.

How long can I rent the dumpster?
You can rent a dumpster for 3 days, 7 days or 14 days.  If you need to rent a dumpster for longer than 14 days, we can review your project to determine the timeframe and rate.

What size dumpsters do you have?

We provide four different sizes at Spring Hill Dumpster Rental: 12-yard, 16-yard, 20-yard, and-25-yard dumpsters.
